Our Program

Our program provides many options for optimal success.

One-on-One Therapy

The benefits of group therapy are significant at Resurgence Recovery Center. They play a minor role in enhancing the core therapy between a patient and his or her addiction specialist. One-on-one therapy is the most effective treatment for clinical conditions of a highly personal nature. Clients with conditions that have accompanying behaviors especially benefit from this type of therapy. While group therapy may bring important issues to light, one-on-one therapy allows our clients to explore and come to terms with real causes of real problems.

The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) concluded in a research study for addiction that though a number of treatment facilities are not able to provide a combination of group therapy and one-on-one therapy, the most effective treatment options couple these two types of therapy. Research Recovery Center offers our clients a nurturing environment which incorporates group and one-on-one therapy with compassionate, experienced, and professional physicians and therapists. Our therapeutic models have been proven effective as a profound and life-enhancing experience. We are dedicated to meeting our client’s needs wherever they are in life, by providing an approach to their treatment that is designed for their particular issues.

In conjunction with our outstanding one-on-one counseling sessions, we incorporate diverse therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational enhancement therapy (MET), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) that successfully enhance progress in different ways.

CBT is designed to redirect negative interpretations and break the pattern of distorted thinking. MET is an alternative process to a multiple-step program that is designed to help clients embrace treatment and sobriety in their lives. DBT is a specific form of cognitive behavioral therapy that focuses on borderline personality disorder, with particular respect to the chronically suicidal. It also overlaps successfully into treatment for various other mental health disorders.

The principles of these additional therapies carry over into good habits and personal growth that benefit our clients post rehab and well into their lives of sobriety.
